I’ve been browsing various websites lately, particularly those of companies I’m interested in. Many of them, of course, show their commitment to inclusivity and non-discrimination precisely on their landing pages. However, when it comes to actions, you see other things. You start noticing “IQ” tests that seem unsuitable for some conditions, like dyslexia. Then there is reducing flexibility in working hours, even though a couple of years ago, they promised all of their employees that they would be free to ride their children to school and back home any time they want, still working 8 hours per day. You see them not being open to autistic people. Then there’s the cultural toxicity towards LGTBQ+ individuals based on their “non-professional” appearance. You see buildings with perpetually out-of-order elevators because of budget cuts. ...
